FOOD ADDICTS ANONYMOUS
We now meets twice a week: Sunday morning at 10am and Thursday evening at 7pm at 2701 Middle Country Road, Lake Grove. These are the only two meetings on Long Island. We are a 12 step fellowship of men and women who are willing to recover from the disease of food addiction. We believe that food addiction is a biochemical disease. Many women find themselves without the support they need to have a healthy baby. Those who are willing to provide help can volunteer to guide women toward healthy pregnancies and birth experiences. Volunteers are trained in maternal and child health issues. The program is sponsored by Suffolk Perinatal Coalition, 475 East Main Street, Suite 207, Patchogue.
